This Cleantech Council Startup Introductions meeting is followed by a Cleantech Investor Meetup. Company pitches are followed by tech demos, networking, and private meetings between today's startups, Cleantech Council members, and sustainability investors.

Cleantech Council members meet monthly to discover startups and innovation across clean, green, and sustainable technologies. Members are forward-looking corporations from a wide variety of industries including materials, manufacturing, mobility, and energy who are working with new companies, investing in new technologies, and partnering with startups who can help them meet their corporate responsibility committments.

Over 100 young companies are introduced each year through brief, rapid-fire presentations with Q&A led by member delegates and time for followup during interactive networking breaks.

This month, on the eve of the VERGE conference, we introduce 7 curated startups and new technologies from Canada, with time for private followup, and attendee networking. ABOUT THE STARTUPS

The Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) Climatetech program is a joint initiative led by Government of Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service and their Consulates General in San Francisco, Denver, Boston and New York. Through a unique blend of mentorship, skills workshops, networking and tailored introductions, the program supports entrepreneurs in the sustainable technology space looking to secure Seed to Series A funding rounds.

MONTHLY STARTUP REVIEW MEETINGS

• Speakers represent young technology companies from around the world and across a variety of industries - from energy, recycling, conservation, water, carbon, food and more. Though their technologies may be diverse (hardware, software, services) and their stage may be from Seed to SPAC, they are all ready to partner.
• Attendees are tech scouts, partnership execs, and corp dev delegates from forward-looking corporations who are committed to working with startups, investing in new technologies, and partnering with new companies to help them meet their sustainability goals. Attendee list will be posted here two weeks before the meeting.
• Remote Access This month we are unable to provide remote access, though members can access the presentations, agenda, and attendee list in the library as with all meetings.

Though Cleantech Council meetings are private and not recorded, members can access presentations, agenda, attendee and contact information for this and all past Cleantech Council meetings in the member library.

GET INVOLVED

With monthly opportunities to pitch, demo, meet, discover, network and research, plus the occasional marketing opportunity mixed in, everyone from energy giants and multinational corporations to CVCs and venture-funded startups can get involved.

• Pitch: Introduce your company to tech scouts, CVCs, and corporate strategy delegates looking for new solutions, new partners, and new investments. Apply to pitch at this or a future meeting.
• Attend: Although Council meetings are free to attend for members and speakers, they are generally closed to the public. Future members can register on this page to be considered for a guest pass.
