Cleantech Council delegates meet monthly to discover startups and innovation across clean, green, and sustainable technologies and build community with colleagues from like-minded corporations committed to paving the road to a sustainable future through partnership.

This month, we open our meeting to the public, as we look at innovation opportunities in Sustainable Fuels.

Even though battery electric and fuel cell energy are improving quickly and their use cases are growing exponentially, there are some cases where the fast energy release, high energy density, and speedy refueling attributes of combustion fuels are required. So, there needs to be innovation in cleaning up more traditional fuels and fueling options.

Moving toward carbon-neutral energy for racing cars, aviation, marine and other trickle-down industries is the focus for this meeting. We’ll be looking at the innovation, opportunities, and startups working to make combustion fuels more sustainable. New technologies across drilling and sourcing, manufacturing of new fuels, substitutes like biofuel and synthetic fuel are all options on the table. And given large recent investments into SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuels) by many traditional energy giants, there should be developments in SAF to highlight.

MEETING FORMAT

Cleantech Council Roundtable Meetings start with presentations from relevant startups, rolls into an unpanel which involves everyone, includes demo and meeting tables for companies looking to start conversations, and ends with a networking lunch.

Our Unpanels gets the audience deeply involved starting with audience questions and comments, today's experts address the topics based on the guidance from the attendees. It makes for an interesting, fun, and interactive discussion that connects the audience’s interests with knowledge from the panelists.

  Tables are inside the meeting room, and can be used to show demos, followup on your pitch, or start conversation with other attendees before, during, and after the main agenda. They are 30” round / 42" tall cocktail tables with black linen, power, and Wi-Fi when available, and signed with your logo.
